Born in Israel and raised in the south of France, Emmanuel Cayere has been amazed by the magic of photography since a very young age. Its ability to stop the time, capture the truth and provide unlimited different perception of the world really fascinates him.
As an adult, Cayere decided to focus his mind on urban documentary photography. He then moved to New York and started his career as fashion and portrait photographer.
One horrible motorcycle accident, that injured his hands badly, inspired the young photographer and drove him to create this series of photographs as his appreciation of the hands, the organ that make humans creators. Many months spent to develop this project and it is proving to be a signature of his work.
Today Cayere works with the legendary photographer and artist, Raphael Mazzucco.
